He tried to use his fire extinguisher gadget to put the fire out, but accidentally used the flamethrower. It burnt up Dr. Claw's entire collection of ceramic roosters, and he was obviously quite pissed. A catfight ensued, obscenities were screamed, potatoes were lodged into exhaust pipes, and they have been sworn enemies ever since.

I honestly don't remember my favorite. I remember I loved Inspector Gadget (the cartoon), The Smurfs and the Care Bears (and of course My Little Pony)

My sister and I used to run around the yard with these tiny New Testaments pretending we were Penny in Inspector Gadget and would press "buttons" in them, climbing over the sides of the decks instead of using the stairs. LOL.

Like she did in the tv show...that book with the buttons.

What should I do for my one year anniversary with my boyfriend?

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for almost a year and I am now trying to come up with things for us to do. It is winter and our anniversary in on February 1, 2014. In the morning of that day we will be ice fishing so this is more for after 4pm ideas. We are very close, we protect each other like brother and sister, we get long like best friends, and we love each other as if we have been together for over 100 years. We are very country. So I don't want ideas like going to see a movie, playing games, laying in bed watching movies. Neither of us are in to that. I had already thought maybe a romantic dinner would be nice but I need more than that. He isn't very romantic or good at stuff like this which is why I am planning our one year anniversary. Which is unfortunate. I am 16 years old turning 17 soon and he is 17 years old turning 18 soon. I also need ideas on what to get him. He loves hunting, fishing, his truck, being outdoors. Please help me out, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you :)

Do you have Bass Pro Shops there? They have great restaurants and are really cool places to go. You could surprise him with a hard to find lure or a really nice handheld GPS, ice fishing electronics gadgets, etc. Cabelas has all kinds of things. I was thinking a sleigh ride or something like that might be fun as well. I don't know where you live. Happy Anniversary btw. I am happy you met someone you really go on well with!

For example, I dislike it when the cases of my electronic gadgets don't match the systems themselves.

I have a light blue DSi and bought the only case that I could find at the time, a dark pink [magenta?] one that also looks red or even purple.

I know that it doesn't really matter but I guess you could say that one of my quirks is needing certain things to match.

I also get upset if my stuff shows even the smallest of scratches.

Do you have any habits that may irritate others?

-i eat m&ms and skittles in rainbow order
-i always match the color of my shirt to something (a hair tye, socks, underwear, ect)
-if my dad leaves a window open 2 inches and doesn't close it. eather you open a window or you don't.
-people coghing or sneezing in the early hours of morning (i think its just loud and obnoxious even though they can't help it)
-stating opinions as facts (specifically when teachers tell you to analise something and then tell you your wrong if you don't say what they thought)

and many more i'm sure. those are just some of my stranger ones

I have told my Dr.She said just take sleeping pills.They don,t work much anymore.

My husbands Macaw screams much of the day especially in the mornings. She once was a quiet bird?

My husband has a Severe Macaw that is a screamer. We live in a 2 family aparrtment and her screaming starts early in the mornings. Unfortunately the bird knows if she screams loud enough she will get the attention she is screaming for. She is out of her cage many hours and played with constantly. She is my husband's side kick. The noise is deafening and very upsettting. My husband caterers to her screaming.

Had the same problem with a cockateel. Was my sidekick, and was quiet at first. Then the screeching began, and I was stuck.

Do I cater to its demands? Or will ignoring it make the screeching stop?

Tried both ways, and it didn't matter. The problem was not enough toys, Entertainment for the bird is necessary. Boredom, not only lack of attention, causes screeching.

Problem now is finding the gadgets needed to keep the bird occupied. And a constant variety, for they get tired of the same old toys.

What gaming console would be good for a 13yo cost does not matter what is best?

Well I'll put it this way. XBOX 360 is a gaming system that is marketed mainly to "hard core" gamers (people who play lots of games) but it will soon be launching its KINECT attachment which will allow for more family oriented games to be played. Essentially its a gadget that allows the system to be controlled without actually having a controller (just you!).

XBOX also has XBOX live service for an additional 50 bucks a year. This allows u to play games online essentially making games more fun even after you finish the main story mode.

PS3 is marketed mainly to I guess also hardcore gamers and people who like watching movies. It comes with a Blueray player included and also has online service (which is free though not as good as XBOX live). It will also be launching (what i call BOOTLEG WII STICKS) a device similar to the WI MOTE which allows the player to play games by swinging the remote around.

Then there's the WII given its low cost and variety of games for peple of all ages. It is a system that everyone can use (even my grandma). It is fairly popular with adults as it also carries many excersise games. The WII's main feature is the ability to control the game using by swinging the remotes around.

I own all 3. The Wii's novelty stick gets old after playing a couple of games. Most of the popular games prob won't be on the wii or won't function in the same way as the PS3/XBOX 360 counter parts.

In my own personal opinion I got more bang for my buck from the XBOX 360. I can buy one game and play it for hours on end on LIVE with my friends and if the game is good it never gets old. I also think the KINECT feature is going to be pretty cool.

Some may say PS3 is more "powerful" and while this is partly true. There is essentially no difference between the quality of XBOX 360 games and PS3 games infact most games you can get for either. I say get him the XBOX 360 (with a 250 gb as he will need that) and the KINECT attachment trust me he will be the envy of all his friends. :) hope this helps.

Q. Unfortunately I managed to drop my 18 month old iPhone 4S this morning and the back has shattered. I've never had a case on this phone, and this is the first time I've shattered it. How much would it cost for apple to replace a shattered back?

The back is a simple repair.
1. Remove the two screws at the bottom of the phone, on opposite sides of the sync port.

2. Push the older back cover in an upward direction, and remove it.

3. Install new back cover

4. Re-insert the two screws on opposite sides of the sync port.

It's really easy and saves money. You can order a new back off of a different site, like Amazon or eBay for example, but they won't be OEM quality parts, which means they'll either shatter easier, or something minor will be wrong with it, like the apple logo being backwards, slightly crooked, or no apple logo at all. It's best if you order from gadget menders. Hope this helps.

Hi, I was playing with my sons Vivitar X020 this morning and managed to turn it from the mode to take pictures to the mode to take movies. I have no idea how I did this and wondered if anyone can advise me how to change it back. Thank you.
The camera belongs to my son who doesn't have the guide otherwise I would have looked in this. Also, I have been on the users website and cannot find their manuals, hence the reason for my question.

Whenever I have a question/problem such as yours, I read the user's guide
(aka "the manual").
It is amazing just how much I always learn from that.

If that doesn't help (or if I'm interested in a product I don't own), I check the manufacturer's website.
They have descriptions and specs for their gadgets, often have user forums, and the decent manufacturers all let you download the manuals in electronic form (so losing the book is no longer a problem).
Getting the PDF is also useful for those times where the printed book is rather small and useless - the PDFs often have more detailed information.

99% of the time reading the instructions does the trick.

After falling asleep every night I wake up wide awake.Then I am awake until 4 or 5oo in the morning.Sometimes sleeping pills work.But not always.And if I take sleeping pills,I feel bad the next day.I take armidex Cancer pill,blood pressure pill every day.This has went on for a long time.
I have told my Dr.She said just take sleeping pills.They don,t work much anymore.

You are not getting into your deep sleep, that's why you wake up. Try taking some honey before you go to bed. Turn on a fan for the hum. Keep all electronic gadgets like computer and tv off for the last hour before you go to bed...

I hate shaving and waxing is okay but it can get expensive after a while, well at least the place that i go to. i have an epilator but i found that too painful, waxing is not as painful for me. anyways is there a gadget that will work to remove hair?

Hi, I was playing with my sons Vivitar X020 this morning and managed to turn it from the mode to take pictures to the mode to take movies. I have no idea how I did this and wondered if anyone can advise me how to change it back. Thank you.
The camera belongs to my son who doesn't have the guide otherwise I would have looked in this. Also, I have been on the users website and cannot find their manuals, hence the reason for my question.

Whenever I have a question/problem such as yours, I read the user's guide
(aka "the manual").
It is amazing just how much I always learn from that.

If that doesn't help (or if I'm interested in a product I don't own), I check the manufacturer's website.
They have descriptions and specs for their gadgets, often have user forums, and the decent manufacturers all let you download the manuals in electronic form (so losing the book is no longer a problem).
Getting the PDF is also useful for those times where the printed book is rather small and useless - the PDFs often have more detailed information.

99% of the time reading the instructions does the trick.

What are the best suggestions to lower your blood pressure? what exercises can be done?

I visited my physician not too long ago and my blood pressure was a bit high. There was no immediate concern for my health at all. But personally I decided to start exercising to better the pressure. I swim 30 mins in the morning and run 30 mins at night. Is this good enough? what are other suggestions?

1. getting a blood pressure gadget is usually pretty cheap & will help you see progress. 120/90 is good now a days
2. Exercise, anxiety (e.g. a big test or even going to the doctor's office for some), drinking coffee, certain meds (including over-the-counter), drinking alcohol & smoking (which you probably don't do) all affect your blood pressure. You should wait a considerable time after doing any of these to get the most accurate reading of your blood-pressure.
3. Reduce salt/sodium (soft drinks including Sprite contain sodium)
4. Potassium has been shown to lower bp
5. The excercise you're doing is great, I don't need to do more to lower your bp but if you can it's good for you all around.

My husbands Macaw screams much of the day especially in the mornings. She once was a quiet bird?

My husband has a Severe Macaw that is a screamer. We live in a 2 family aparrtment and her screaming starts early in the mornings. Unfortunately the bird knows if she screams loud enough she will get the attention she is screaming for. She is out of her cage many hours and played with constantly. She is my husband's side kick. The noise is deafening and very upsettting. My husband caterers to her screaming.

Had the same problem with a cockateel. Was my sidekick, and was quiet at first. Then the screeching began, and I was stuck.

Do I cater to its demands? Or will ignoring it make the screeching stop?

Tried both ways, and it didn't matter. The problem was not enough toys, Entertainment for the bird is necessary. Boredom, not only lack of attention, causes screeching.

Problem now is finding the gadgets needed to keep the bird occupied. And a constant variety, for they get tired of the same old toys.

What gaming console would be good for a 13yo cost does not matter what is best?

Well I'll put it this way. XBOX 360 is a gaming system that is marketed mainly to "hard core" gamers (people who play lots of games) but it will soon be launching its KINECT attachment which will allow for more family oriented games to be played. Essentially its a gadget that allows the system to be controlled without actually having a controller (just you!).

XBOX also has XBOX live service for an additional 50 bucks a year. This allows u to play games online essentially making games more fun even after you finish the main story mode.

PS3 is marketed mainly to I guess also hardcore gamers and people who like watching movies. It comes with a Blueray player included and also has online service (which is free though not as good as XBOX live). It will also be launching (what i call BOOTLEG WII STICKS) a device similar to the WI MOTE which allows the player to play games by swinging the remote around.

Then there's the WII given its low cost and variety of games for peple of all ages. It is a system that everyone can use (even my grandma). It is fairly popular with adults as it also carries many excersise games. The WII's main feature is the ability to control the game using by swinging the remotes around.

I own all 3. The Wii's novelty stick gets old after playing a couple of games. Most of the popular games prob won't be on the wii or won't function in the same way as the PS3/XBOX 360 counter parts.

In my own personal opinion I got more bang for my buck from the XBOX 360. I can buy one game and play it for hours on end on LIVE with my friends and if the game is good it never gets old. I also think the KINECT feature is going to be pretty cool.

Some may say PS3 is more "powerful" and while this is partly true. There is essentially no difference between the quality of XBOX 360 games and PS3 games infact most games you can get for either. I say get him the XBOX 360 (with a 250 gb as he will need that) and the KINECT attachment trust me he will be the envy of all his friends. :) hope this helps.
