I'm looking for the link to a gadget. All it does is direct you to the Facebook homepage when you click on it. It looks like the blue facebook 'face', not just a blue sphere. I have looked through the entire button gallery and can't find it. I used to have it on my toolbar but accidently deleted it. Does anyine have the link? Thanx so much ;)

fFrom the dashboard, select the "edit layout" tab, then "page elements". Click on "add a gadget" and select the "picture", and fill out the resulting form.

A blank line comes from the html code BR (used within the less-than & greater-than symbols.)

Can you help me find a gadget for blogspot?

There are gadgets for doing tasks where you can set the priority and the task to be done in a row/column format. However, I don't want it to be designed for just tasks (priority,etc)

What I'm looking for is the row/column format but I want to be able to use 3 or 4 columns per row for typing stuff in.

What I need is something like an address book for a game. First column would be their game name, next columns would be other information. If a link can be added (but as "Link" instead of showing the URL) that would be wonderful.

I had asked this question before but for some reason the question was removed (guess someone voted 'no best answer'). Either a gadget like I want or someplace that specializes in making gadgets.

I was wondering some cool gadgets you know of that i could buy. My main ones i can think of that i want are like Dispensors. Like in The Batman, he pushes down on the belt dispensor and it comes out. When you add gadgets to your web page, and the codes you use for gadget is not from a trusted site, they might contain malwares. Check your gadget codes one by one and try to find out the above site (nikbir09.ws.a ) in any of your gadget codes. If you can find it surely that might be the gadget causing problem. So remove that gadget as soon as possible.

It's really important to remove that gadget as soon as possible because they usually (the blogger team) suspend or delete any blog which contains malware with or without a notice.

See how each blog entry has a few labels/tags at the bottom? On the Layout page, click "Add a gadget" and select the gadget called "Labels". This will display the tags you use for your entries.

As for HTML, you'll link to each individual label with this format:

blogspot.com/search/label/YourTag

So it'd probably look something like

<a href="Link.com/label/YourTag">Category Title</a>

You might be best off finding a blogspot site that uses this technique, and look at the source code for that particular site.

Ok. I have just created myself a blog. I have an artists account on soundcloud.com and want to have a gadget/widget for it on my blog that leads to my artists page or dropbox. How would I do this?

For this you could do a text gadget with a link to your page.
Or you could do a picture gadget that when clicked leads to your page.
Here is how to do both

How to do the text gadget
1.Sign in and go to your blog
2.go to customize/design
3.Click add a gadget where you want your widget to be
4.Click the text gadget (5th one down)
5.Add the title you want the content
6. After that you can choose a word or phrase that will lead the person to your artists account or dropbox page such as "click here to go to my dropbox"
7.Highlight that word or phrase
8.click the small earth next to text color on the top of the content box
9.Enter the url in the url box
10.Press ok and save
11. Congrats you now have a link to that page

How to o the picture gadget
1.Sign in and go to your blog
2.Press design/customize in the upper right corner
3.Click add gadget where you want your picture widget to be
4. SCroll down and click on picture (7th one down)
5.Add the title and caption
6.copy and paste the link that the picture will lead to in this case your artists page or drop box link
7. Upload the picture that will ink to your artists page or dropbox.
8.press save
9. congrats your picture not links to your artists page or dropbox

I have a blog (blogspot). But I can't find a gadget that's like a music player, you know, that plays music in the background. Is there one like that? Am I missing something? Maybe I'm searching the wrong words...

I use an outside one...blogspot doesn't have one.

The one I use is playlist.com. They have all the songs I've looked for.

You just make your playlist, then click "share this list". It will give you an HTML code to paste on your blog. (so, you just click HTML in the gadgets) It's great! You can change the color, or add your own picture for its background.

myflashfetish.com is one that some of my friends use for their blogs. You can post it on your blog with different colors as well. It has a couple different skins you can post it in, but mostly I've seen the one that looks like an ipod.

click on Add Gadget once you are Design page and then select Feed. It will ask you paste the Feed URL. Enter it and you are done. Feeds will be displayed. But if you want to read full story of the link, you have to go to original website.

Well you'll need to get logos and backgrounds. Try getting a gif image background if you want it to look professional and great a good looking logo. Then make your page look like todays internet trend make the edges rounded and try no to use adsense ads cause they just mess up your blog.

I would be very careful about using this stuff. Read the manuals on the website BEFORE you use the download. XP wasn't meant to be like Vista.

I do not have a blog myself, but there is a blog that I want to look at without the person knowing there is anyone viewing it.

If you go to Design and then click on edit in the Counter gadget, you can opt to not record your own page views.

If you have not already done so, you can also go to StatCounter (it is free) and get a code to put on your Blogspot Blog. You just create it and then copy and paste the HTML code into a gadget (HTML/Java Script) in Design. With it, I just blocked my IP address so that my own visits will not be recorded.
