Where can I find a toaster that REALLY works?

You'd think a piece of toast would be a simple thing, but we've tried several different toasters and have never found one that consistently browns a whole piece of bread. It seems toaster makers only care about the industrial design and gadgets and the basics of toasting are left to the wind.

I am highly attracted to expensive sports cars and have been ever since I was collecting die cast cars as a kid. Its not really about status, but I like how they look.

There's a ton more examples : Expensive homes (great architectural design), expensive gadgets, expensive accessories, etc.

Why am I like this knowing I can't afford any of it?

Same thing with me. I was brought up with expensive tastes and I cannot drop it. My parents raised me to like expensive things. Every time I go into a store, I will pick out the most expensive thing, without a doubt. It's so depressing...
I'm like 17 w/ a minimal job and I want sooo much.
