Answer
Some, but not many, major issues. First, the deck is too big. Keep it at 40, or worst case trim it to 42-44). For starters, take out the two barrel dragons, mage power, power bond (especially this, i doubt it will help you), blind spot strike, frontline base
I think it's a good idea to max Machina Gearframe (fortress searcher) and Fortress (worst case, you toss that extra fortress as cost for another). Take out the two snipers for them.
Your spells and traps are too spread out (1 copy everything). I'd always run MST and Bottomless trap hole (take out traphole) at 2. If no bottomless, add antoher d.prison instead of traphole
Monster reborn is better than call of the haunted (you don't need both).
Mirror force you should have.
Royal decree and dust tornado (out), solemn judgement and cold wave (in).
Try one more solidarity.
"1 fissure and 1 book of moon", take out one, and add a second copy of the other (i prefer the book, but your choice)
If you have the cards, max out the extra deck (even if you won't use the cards). Need some chimeratech fortress dragons (must have in cyber dragon decks). You have 2 cyber ends with no way to get them. Add a 3rd cyber dragon or take them out.
These modifications should make your deck better.

R/F My Machina.Gadget Stun Deck?

This is my Machina/Gadget Stun Deck. The reason its both Machina and Gadget Stun is b/c the main deck is Machina, but i switch out my machina cards with the side cards to create a Gadget Stun deck.

I went 4-1 at regionals with this deck. Dropped out 5th round so people could get their invites.

you could probably main deck royal oppression since this deck isn't hurt by it so badly. killing off other decks ability to special summon will cause them to lose. i also don't know why people play machina force. but since almost all of the decks play at least one, i think you should only play one since it's kind of useless.

This is similar to my machina gadget deck. Its good but consider adding 1 more Machina Force. It actually is never a dead draw because you will most likely have a M fortress in your hand or graveyard all the time. Also, work on getting those smashing grounds. Try taking out 1 compulsory and adding a solemn judgment if you can

there you have it, its not cheap, but you said competitive, not budget. this deck wins, alot, remember to side out your machina stuff and go into gadget stun so your opponent doesnt know what hit them and you'll be fine.

Okay, I've played machina extensively and come up with a deck that works extremely well against anything else. Your deck is good but I saw a few problems with it

Problem #1-18 monsters
Machina decks are better when you use 19-20 monsters rather then anything lower the reason being you always want a way to get fortress on the field and you want choices with what to discard. Here are the fixes for this

-Gorz, extremely dead in machinas. You run too many traps to run him. Trag is the better of the two for this deck and it helps you in other ways as well
+Tragoedia, Like I said, it's just better
+Scrap Recycler, Very under rated card for machinas and every machina deck should have at least 1

Don't listen to the guys saying to get rid of peacekeeper, it also is a very underrated card for machinas and when you can use it's full potential can lead to game changing plays. Also, Machina Force is just godly in machina's, he's a searchable monster reborn for fortress and that's exactly how you should use him. Do NOT under any circumstances use him to get fortress from your hand, well unless your losing really bad and don't have another machine in hand, that's the obvious exception but other then that force shuld only be used to revive a fallen fortress

Problem #2 Spell lineup
Ouch, you look like you can't decide what you want to do with it, way too many single spells to create a consistant deck.

-1 Nobleman of crossout, This is no longer a main deck card at all, no matter the situation because now we're not seeing as many set cards as we did in the begining of the format. Move it to the side deck but even there it's a stretch.
-1 Swords of Revealing light, Not good for the deck, your deck shouldn't need stall, good idea in theory, but not helpful for the deck
-1 Lightning Vortex, another example of bad card choice, you don't want to be discarding anything fro the hand, Gadget decks maintain hand advantadge by using 1 for 1 removal.

+1 Fisure, 3 smash 2 fissure is the way to go in machina gadget
+2 solidarity, very good card for machina gadget as most of your cards are machine type, it ups your weaker cards so you have more beatsticks, another thing I like about it is it's explosive potential, Gearframe into fortress on an open field with solidarity backing it up is 5900 damage that your opponent never saw coming, the next turn your probably winning the game. Don't listen to the other guys telling you to get rid of Book of Moon. That things a staple this format, doesn't matter what your running

Problem # 3 Traps
Not as many problems here but some suggestions
3 d-prison is not as good as it used to be the better ratio is 2 D-prison and 1 Compulsory Evacuation Device, an excellent tech card that is chainable and is synchro removal so
-1 Dprison
+1 Compulse
Also, take out either mirror force, dust tornado, or torrential to put in Starlight road. The card is amazing for machina decks and allows you to extend farther with less problems.
I'd take out torrential
-1 Torrential
+1 Starlight Road

Good luck with the deck, if you follow my advice you'll probably be surprised with how much better the deck gets

Some people don't like running Solidarities, or running 3 Cyber Dragon (a lot of people run 2) or running 2 Machina Force (most run 1, some run 2). Play test and find out what works best. Also, you would run 3 Pot of Duality, but they're going for about $90 apiece, and I assume your friend doesn't want to spend $270+ on 3 cards. On top of that, some people run 2-3x Book of Moon, but I don't think that's necessary with 3 Dimensional Prison and 3 Smashing Ground.

A cheap deck you say? Well a cheap deck that doesn't need a lot of investing is a fairy deck. With the new release of Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck you can just buy 2 (or even 3) and put them together. They are quite competitive and should be decent. Another deck that is relatively cheap is a black wing deck. Simply buy a couple of Duelist Pack: Crow and add a few staples and your deck should be done. And if done correctly your deck should be tournament quality.

Btw, a machina gadget deck can still be pretty competitive even after the ban list.

I have a Machina deck and really not to brag but I have won tournamnets beating Lightsworns and tele-dad and GBs and all decks and even BWs. Is it possible it can top?

Yes it is definitely possible.

The reason why they can be the best deck is because of Machina Fortress. The constant summoning of Gadgets gives Machinas hand advantage and card material to ditch for Fortress. Also, being able to ditch Fortress for Fortress makes it super easy. Gearframe is also really really good at giving them hand advantage.

From Machina Gadget decks I've played, they always run 3 Smashing Grounds. It is very irritating, and one of the key points of the deck. At the tournament I went to, the top decks were Machina Gadgets.

Because of this, I can see Fortress getting Limited, and Smashing getting Semied or Limited. I'm not sure about the Gadgets, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got hit.

A cheap deck you say? Well a cheap deck that doesn't need a lot of investing is a fairy deck. With the new release of Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck you can just buy 2 (or even 3) and put them together. They are quite competitive and should be decent. Another deck that is relatively cheap is a black wing deck. Simply buy a couple of Duelist Pack: Crow and add a few staples and your deck should be done. And if done correctly your deck should be tournament quality.

Btw, a machina gadget deck can still be pretty competitive even after the ban list.

I have a Machina deck and really not to brag but I have won tournamnets beating Lightsworns and tele-dad and GBs and all decks and even BWs. Is it possible it can top?

Yes it is definitely possible.

The reason why they can be the best deck is because of Machina Fortress. The constant summoning of Gadgets gives Machinas hand advantage and card material to ditch for Fortress. Also, being able to ditch Fortress for Fortress makes it super easy. Gearframe is also really really good at giving them hand advantage.

From Machina Gadget decks I've played, they always run 3 Smashing Grounds. It is very irritating, and one of the key points of the deck. At the tournament I went to, the top decks were Machina Gadgets.

Because of this, I can see Fortress getting Limited, and Smashing getting Semied or Limited. I'm not sure about the Gadgets, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got hit.

I'm an experienced Gadget player but after a while, i began to realize that my deck is so similar to all the online ones... Quite honestly, i dont want to be a conformist and play with such a predictable deck. Do any yugioh players here have tech ideas for a NON solidarity machina gadget deck? I have put an effect veiler and a snowman eater in the main deck. testing is still in progress. :)

Well, I playtested with a Gigantes for a beatstick and because of the banning of Heavy Storm, that was ok, I did miss the 800 atk boosts to the gadgets though. Not having Solidarity means you can run any monster so considering running the staples. Not sure why you would be using Snowman Eater though.

I've been running blackwings for a while but deciding to move to machinas. Which one is better.

clearly blackwing because in ycs which was last weekend actualy but here is a list of the top 32 deck lists and if u look you will see no mechina gadgets but at least 3 or 4 blackwings

also mechinas dont show any thought or orignality as all you do is buy 3 structure decks and add a few staples and any can play it and do at least quite well.

so all in all blackwings and they are so amazing although i dont premote net decking if u feel like ur deck isnt doing well just base it off some of the black wing decks in the ycs top 32

I think it's better if you grab the list off the Yugioh Blog Site, where they tell you all the Deck Lists that hit the top 16. You probably have to wait a couple of days, but then you'd be 100% sure it's the Deck that got 3rd Place in Toronto.

I can't really play my old deck, machina gadgets anymore because it's eating destroyed by the ban list and I wz thinking of switching 2 macro but aftr mst is unlimited and heavy storm is unbanned I'm sort of stuck.
