Q. Well, yesterday i was using my weather gadget to read the weather, but today as my laptop came on, all my weather gadget is showing is a letter i in a blue circle, and absolutley nothing else, like no background, nothing, wont let me do settings or anything. What am i meant to do to get this back because it was really usefull to me XD please help (picture below)

That gadget's crashed. To fix it, just remove it from your desktop and add it again - that should fix the problem, albeit only temporary. If that doesn't work, try a system restore - something might have changed on your computer that's broken the gadget. And if that fails too, you could always install one of the hundreds of other weather gadgets on Windows Live Gallery - I'm sure at least one of them will suit you.
... Or you could reinstall Windows entirely, which is a really big jump, and should only be done as a last resort - it'll lose you all your programs.

Q. How do i get gadgets such as the clock, weather, notes on my desktop on windows 7? On Vista it was on that bar thing at the side but thats not on 7. Please Help?!

Also, if you right click on your desktop, there's an option called 'Gadgets'. Open that up, and there's another button for 'Get more gadgets online'.
