How to import gadgets from Igoogle to different homepage?
Q. As you all probably know, igoogle is shutting down. I have certain gadgets on that page and need to get a new homepage that I can have my gadgets/apps/extensions on. I tried netvibes.com as I was told I can import my gadgets to there. but that was a lie as there was no way to import my stuff to netvibes start page so I cancelled netvibes. Nevertheless, I need to know exactly how to transfer my stuff to a different homepage once I have chosen a new homepage. I will continue to use chrome as I understand they are only taking out igoogle homepage.
TY Dan. I had already tried that and tried it again after your suggestion. I followed the instructions to the letter and when I get to "import" step, all I get is an error msg. [Code : HTTP 0]. I suspect that the items on my igoogle page are not actual RSS feeds ( i have only 3 things on my igoogle page: wheather, arul john IP tracker and my local news.) I referred to those as "gadgets" but maybe "widgets" is what they are because they will not import and netvibes will import only rss feeds. So....I need to know how to import "widgets" from igoogle to a different homepage (perhaps yahoo).
