I'm trying to make a comic book character that's sort of similar to Batman, in that she uses gadgets and technology rather than superpowers. Her alter ego is known as Doll Face, because she strapped on a masquerade mask after getting her face slashed up when fighting her children's killer. My question is, what kind of gadgets would someone like this use? Green Arrow has his bow and trick arrows, Batman has his psycho-prepared arsenal for any situation, but what kind of weapons would she use? Any help is appreciated.
Also, if anyone has any further ideas for this character, like her actual name, background, etc, please tell me. Thank you for your time!

First of all, that is an incredibly good idea for a comic book character. I'd definitely read a series with Doll Face as the central hero. Because her face is disfigured, I would imagine that her gadgets would have something to do with appearances or disfigurement. For example, for a weapon, how about a long spear with razor sharp tips at either end and a mirror mounted on it. Doll Face could disfigure her enemies faces with the razor ends and then show them their face in the mirror before dispatching them, so that the last thing they'd see would be their own mutilated faces. She may even take her foes faces as trophies. Also, Doll Face could change her mask depending on how she's feeling. So she could have one mask with a blank face, one with an angry looking face, another with an evil grin etc. Her other weapons could be a couple of long daggers which she could be an expert with, particularly at throwing them to disarm her enemies and so on.
As for her background, she could have been a professional model or something which she relied on her looks for. The fact that she was very beautiful before the attack which disfigured her makes it all the more harrowing now that she looks hideous. In her spare time she could have been a magician's glamourous assistant, where she learned knife throwing as part of the act, which is where she could have acquired her knife throwing skills.
Whatever you decide, I'm sure that you can have a lot of fun with this character. I hope that I've given you a few ideas. I wish you nothing but the best of luck, I'm certain that Doll Face could become a classic comic book character.
