I'm wondering, just how in te world does this deck work? can someone explain the purpose of this deck and its strategies

Basically gadgets are meant to have hand advantage, as in every time a gadget is summoned, you are allowed to retreieve a gadget from your deck and place it in your hand, giving you the same hand advantage as when you summoned your monsters, so not only does your deck goes down, you will have the same number of cards in your hand.
Than you have spells and traps that helps your gadgets, as in shrink, basically the weakest gadget i think is 1200, so most 2400-2600 would lose and such. If you r monster gets destroyed in battle, you summon antoher gadget, retreive another, and use cards like fissure and such, its a 1 for 1, and you have a monster still, so sooner or later, your opponent would lose his hand and field advantage. So you should put cards that go for 1 for 1, like smashing ground, soul taker, fissure and such.
Than there is royal oppression, basically it kills special summoned monsters, like lightsworn wulf, judgement dragon, DAD and such.
Than there is tragodia (SP?) basically, it can be special summoned when you take battle damage, so because it comes into play in the damage step, its unaffected by royal oppression ( Unless you have dyna on the field or vanity fiend on the field) its atk I believe, is 600 for every card in your hand, because gadgets helps your hand, usually it would be very strong, the other effect useful is you can discard a monster and take control a monster that is the same level, which usually is 4.
Dyna - when flipped destroyes all special summone monster, no special summoned monster can be played
ultimate offering + limiter removal ( OTK) basicaly, usually youll be focusing on regular summon, basically becasue they can retrieve gadgets, you can actviate ultimate offering, summon all 5 gadgets, and than you limiter removal and otk someoen.
Thunder king raioh - negates special summon, but hurts gadgets since you cant retreive,
there are other cards that suports gadgets but im too lazy to write anymore
