Can I add the my own RSS feeds to the Windows 7 gadget. When I open this gadget I can only see the default ones they put on. I can choose which categories of feeds I want to see, but still I can't add my favorite feeds?

Does anyone know if it is possible?

Answer
You need to go to the page that provides the link to the RSS feed and click it on Internet Explorer (you can try this one which is from google news http://news.google.com/news?pz=1&ned=us&hl=en&topic=h&num=3&output=rss) and when you are seeing the feed on IE you will get the option on top to "Subscribe to this feed" which will add it to the list that is shown on the gadget.

What is RSS?

hello

I was wondering what RSS is it is something that is on here. Does anyone inderstand what I am asking?

Answer
RSS means Really Simple Syndication. Of course, that probably does not mean anything to you.

When you have an RSS feed reader, you can subscribe to new services, but also to Blogs and other websites that your friends frequent.

RSS is built-in to Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Vista. One of the display gadgets is an RSS feed display thing.

MySpace blogs provide RSS, so if you are a regular blogger, GO FOR IT. Of course, Yahoo 360 blogs also connect to RSS.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
