Answer
Cash is universally accepted gift. Especially for a poor family in Manila.
The money you waste on gadgets and nonsense "gifts" will be more than enough to feed the whole family for a month. Not to mention the things you send to them will probably be pilfered by the postal employees before it ever gets to them anyway. Once they have those doo dadds, they still can't afford batteries and somebody will probably steal their stuff within a week. Think, man. You need to come to grips with the living conditions of these people you are trying to help. Those people giving advice on here about branded perfumes and crap like that probably don't even live in The Philippines.

Answer
Dad : Clothes, Gadgets, Electronics
Mum : Make up, jewelery, Clothes
Brother : Toys for 11 year olds? Like cars or something or a game for a console if he has one. A football t shirt with his name printed on the back if he's into sports aswell.
