These gadgets has been a necessity to all of us. Can you live without them for just a day?

yes i can and yes i wish i was allowed to. i would love a day off from all the work that would be ace i would switch them off (phones internet, compters) and relax all day. go biking, having fun with mates and etc... its jus life today is based around work, careera etc... and work is base around computers and phones aargh

How can I communicate with a passenger on my motorcycle? Are there intercoms or similar devices to use?

What type of communication gadgets are out there for rider to passenger communication?

There are communication devices my motorcycle club uses them on long trips. These devices allow us to talk to other bikes or our passenger and our passenger has the ability to talk to everyone also.
These devices are on the baby minder frequency so there is not allot of chatter on the frequency unless there are a lot of them in a town that you may be going through. These came in quite handy on our trip to Canada and then when we dropped down into yellowstone park I keyed the mike and told everyone the history of the park as I knew it.
These are wired into your helmet and there is a speaker and microphone, with either vox activation or a push to talk button mounted on your handlebars. I would recommend push to talk as the vox can be activated by the wind noise.
