Are Gadget Decks fun to play. If can someone come up with a list of the most powerful deck possible.

Gadgets are extremely anitmeta, meaning they disrupt almost any deck out there. Thats how they win, as well as having many hand advantage sicne you always have a steady supply of gadgets.

I used to watch it all the time in the 80's. It's since been made into a movie. He says, "Go Go gadget [fill in the blank]" and one of many bionic gadgets built into his body pops out. Like a parachute.

Gadget decks can be great when made 100% like they should be made. Currently, Gadget decks have been making it big at regionals once again. They went out for a while, but are now placing at regionals. Make one like this, it's a upgraded versions of the last gadget deck to place at the Costa Mesa Shonen Jump TCG Championship Series Tournament in March '08.

If you are thinking of going with a gadget deck, then make it exactly like this one......

okaies well for a long time now, i ran a gadget-machina deck and i loved it. it was fun to play and i have topped at many local tornys XD BUT i want to make a gadget beat-down deck nows xD something new, and i love gadgets anyways so wha da hell right? XD heres da list so far...

sooooo i know its not much at all lolz, but i would love to keep it machines (since im running Solidarity x3) so any help would be much appreciated ^_^ I'm thinking of running a field card...i think its called Gia "sumthing" sorry haha if u know the name tell me, i know it raises ATK of earth monsters by 500 XD

so i welcome any suggestions XDDDD and please keep it in the machine type (so Solidarity still works and combo with Limiter Removal) i just need to know what cards to add to finish it.

Before I begin, I'd like to introduce you to the OCG concept of Fifth Gadget.
Most duelists are running 40 Card decks, and it's easily the most consistent for normal decks.
However, there is a problem that occurs when running 9 gadgets; you're extremely liklely to run into multiple gadgets in your opening hand. 9/40 isn't great when you're trying to keep them in your deck to get them later.
in the OCG, the concept of Fifth Gadget proposes running 45 cards, so that litterally a fifth of your deck is gadgets.
This helps eliminate multiple gadget draws, and has been proven to be more consistent in the OCG.

it's an old article, but the concept behind it remains relevant, even though the proposed deck list is not.

now then
as far as helping you, i'll simply help by giving you a Fifth Gadget variant list, in other words a 45 card list. Should you choose to cut the deck down to 40 cards and disregard the concept, that's entirely up to you.

I actually made it sort of a fifth gadget machina variant, so it may not be exactly what you're looking for... but it's good with Solidarity, and is definitely designed for beating down the enemy.

I have it and it's awesome really cool light, good shape and color and really really easy to operate anyways only with the 4s u can call ur kid and face chat so how it works is u call ur kid and on the screen it says face time and all u do is just press it. U should use that cuz u could call ur kid anytime and anywhere soo ya u should check into it and the 4 and 4s there is a difference but get the 4s I'd go with AT&T.

Basically what this deck is really useful for is to stop the field swarm/special summon of the opponent, which these days is the most common way that people draw out there best cards.
Basically you can buy 3 structure decks with all/most of these cards within, it will beef up your traps and gadgets, with Dimensional prison, which itself is worth 6 bucks! If you buy it cheap online, you can pay more for the whole deck than you would one single D-prison.

Monsters (20)
3x Green Gadget
3x Red Gadget
3x Yellow Gadget
-- this is the base of the deck, obviously.
2x Giant Rat
-- help you get your buggers out faster than normal
2x Cyber Dragon
2x Cyber Valley
-- just a great card set, dragon is basically a free summon, and valley lets you draw cards.
2x Boot-Up Soldier - Dread Dynamo
1x Sangan
1x Neo Spatian Grand Mole
-- boot up is atleast a good defender, and a stout offense with gadgets. Sangan and grand mole are just good to have.

unlikley - gadget lovers are often technophiles and 'early adapters' who are very knowledgeable of the upcoming new technologies and upcoming 'gadgets' and would tend to be proficient in their use. And as you say, new gadgets/tech is very expensive, I am guessing they would rather put their money towards ownership of the gadgets rather than information or the opportunity to 'play' with them.

Most of them make no money at all for the person posting the video, but if YouTube gets enough extra site traffic as a result then the poster can get a small amount of money.

Most posters buy the gadgets themselves. Many probably sell them a little later to recoup some money to re-spend on their next gadget, but others are simply collectors who are lucky enough to have a high disposable income. Either way, the poster usually loses a bit of money each time, but almost all hobbies cost money.

A very tiny number of posters get so many followers and upload so many videos that they acquire a reputation as gadget blogger. Those people may be actively cultivated by advertisers and publicists to receive loans of new gadgets or sometimes free samples to review.

To summarise: all but a very few spend their own money to produce those videos and do so solely for the pleasure of it and to satisfy their own egos.

Alright heres the true lowdown from a guy who played that very deck since the release of Phantom Darkness. The deck is primarily Anti-Meta which means that it tries to use cards to counter the most popular decks in the game. In the past (and partially now) this meant shutting down special summoning in order to slow the game down, this way you and your opponent should only be able to summon 1 monster per turn usually. However because of your gadgets friendly abilities you gain a +1 advantage in your hand each time you summon while your opponent doesn't..usually. The biggest problem with the deck these days is the rise of blackwings and what they commonly do..pretty much the same thing as gadgets, summon and get a +1 via Black Whirlwind, and they can keep it up longer meaning if the game lasts long enough their advantage becomes greater than yours. Thats generally where grave control comes in (Kycoo The Ghost Destroyer is a must, maybe D.D. Crow sided in). Sadly with the rise of blackwings the deck isn't nearly as good as it once was, but its a wonderfully cheap and strategic deck to play, good luck!

Hello,

Depends if you are using Windows Vista, or Windows 7.

Windows Vista:

You would need to get your sidebar up. You can access this by clicking on the start button, then typing 'Sidebar' into the search box just above the start button, then selecting Windows Sidebar from the list of results.
From here you should see the right side of your computer screen has gone slightly darker, and you should see things like a clock along the right side. You should also see a small grey '+' symbol, please click on it.
Once clicking the symbol a window will appear showing available gadgets. Just double click on the Kaspersky Gadget to get it back up and running.


Windows 7:

This ones a lot easier.. Just right click in an empty space on your computer's desktop then select 'Gadgets'. This will bring up a window showing all available gadgets, please double click on the Kaspersky gadget to get it back up and running.

To do that would be to manage various systems at once, and (via software) to set off different systems at once. That would be some device.

Sadly with the rise of blackwings the deck isn't nearly as good as it once was, but its a wonderfully cheap and strategic deck to play, good luck!

How do I get my Kaspersky gadget back up?

Hello, I've recently downloaded my Kaspersky Internet Security and then the gadget popped up on the side. I removed the gadget but I'd like it back but I can't figure out how! Any clue on how to get it back?

Depends if you are using Windows Vista, or Windows 7.

Windows Vista:

You would need to get your sidebar up. You can access this by clicking on the start button, then typing 'Sidebar' into the search box just above the start button, then selecting Windows Sidebar from the list of results.
From here you should see the right side of your computer screen has gone slightly darker, and you should see things like a clock along the right side. You should also see a small grey '+' symbol, please click on it.
Once clicking the symbol a window will appear showing available gadgets. Just double click on the Kaspersky Gadget to get it back up and running.


Windows 7:

This ones a lot easier.. Just right click in an empty space on your computer's desktop then select 'Gadgets'. This will bring up a window showing all available gadgets, please double click on the Kaspersky gadget to get it back up and running.
