I want to get something cool for a good guy I'm dating. He's a gadget freak but I'm not too much into electronics like he is so I need help. What are some websites with honest reviews and columns on the latest stuff. Thx..Caroline

Try the CONSUMER REPORTS, electronics BLOG. how to bookmark a website and get a gadget for vista?

Dani
I have the flock web browser and I want to bookmark a page rather than favorite one. I want to be able to just click on the link, and not have to open ten folders to get to it. The other question I have is how to download a gadget for vista that is like the one on mac that you can have all your shortcuts on the bottom of the screen. any ideas?
Answer
No need for a gadget for shortcuts on the bottom. Just right click the taskbar (bottom bar) by the start button and choose toolbars, Quick Launch. Now all you have to do is drag and drop shortcuts to folders and websites and whatever else you want to the quick launch bar.
Favorite and bookmark are the same thing.
From what I can tell, all you have to do is drag and drop shortcuts to websites to what looks like the links bar. The little symbol next to the http:// in the address bar, grab that and drag it to the links bar directly below the address box and there you have a shortcut.
Same thing I do for internet explorer, drag and drop most commonly used shortcuts to the links bar that way they are right in front of me at all times.
