for marketing class i had to create a blog on gmail, but i don't know how does it work, how change the setting and put my profile on top, and videos and all that. i know that where it says add gadget you can add pictures and videos, but how????

A blog about Gmail? (you can't make a blog inside Gmail).... What you can do is sign up for an account in wordpress.com and there you can create a blog about Gmail, or you can sign-up an account in Gmail, and create a blog in Blogger.
About adding videos and photos, just work around on the features and see how they work. You can do trial and error before publishing them, and besides if this is a new blog, it would rarely get noticed if you are doing some changes on your blog.... See what is the best design you can have...

Gmail Email Canceling Gadet?

I heard that there was a gadget that Gmail offered that gave you the option to cancel an email after it has already been sent. Does anyone know the actual name of it? Because I've been looking for it but have been unable to find it. Thanks.

It is called Undo Send.
Just enter your Gmail setting, go to Labs and click Enable near the Undo Send feature.
