yugioh: machina gadget deck question?

i chose machina over agents because everyone was saying agents were better ONLY if you can go out and buy all those expensive extra cards, which i cant, also i happen to have some jinzos and cyber twin and cyber end dragon and a future fusion so that just adds to choosing machina even more.

well my question is, im hapyp with machina gadgets, but im worried that anyone who is pretty decent at yugioh will always have a chimeratech fortress dragon in there extra deck, so basicly i have a completly unfair disadvantage because any time i have cyber dragon and another machine of the field they can just fuse them for their own chimeratech fortress dragon, which i accualy think is pretty stupid considering theres no other deck who has the same problem as worrying about what monsters they have on the field because of that

so i was wondering, is machina or any machine deck even good anymore? someone could completly swarm the field and be destroying the duel, then next turn, bam chimeratech fortress dragon all your monsters, so is this so great a deal that machina isnt even good anymore?

Machina Gadgets are still good, but Cyber Dragon is a staple side deck card right now. Another reason why they aren't doing so well is that the deck can't keep up with the top decks very well. Almost all the top decks outspeed, outswarm and outplay the Gadget duelist. While there are certainly things you can do to have your deck stand on its own, the fact is that Gadgets are at a disadvantage against many of the top tier decks.

seriously jinzo in a gadget deck with a full stack of traps.....
heres some suggestions
-1 jinzo
-1 overload (royal oppression would benefit more)
-1 future fusion (royal oppression would benefit more)
-1 premature (i see noting here worth preing)
-1 card destruction (only good for side deck)
-1 noble man of crossout (3xdrilloid is enough)
-1 magic cylinders (not needed in a gadget deck)
-1 brain control (not needed in a gadget deck only okish for sidedeck)
-2 cyber valley (i know cyber valley is a really good card but it doesn't fit in a gadget deck)

+3 banisher (same reason as royal oppression)
+3 solemn judgment (needed in any tournament worthy gadget deck)
+2 royal oppression (stops/slow down all the tournament worthy decks [dark armed dragon, perfect circle,destiny hero,zombie ect.] and runs perfectly in a gadget deck since its so flexible)
+1 monster reborn (no longer ban limited to 1 since of march 1 08 worth running even with royal oppression)
+1 hammer shot
