Q. This thing is always detected by zonalarm and it's asking me to allow or deny. What exactly is Microsoft Feeds Synchronization?
Does it have anything to do with the Feeds Headline gadget in Windows Sidebar? I am using it in Sidebar.
Is Microsoft Feeds Synchronization a malicious program? I need to be sure before I can allow this.

It'll be something to do with RSS feeds so your probably right about the feeds headline gadget. Just tell zone alarm to always allow.

Well, I can recommend Google Desktop, there are all kinds of cool gadgets for that like a notepad, twitter updater, CPU stats shower and RSS feeds. More than enough options and it works very good.
