How do you put freon in a ice maker that does not have charge port.?

Ice make does not have charge port. I have been told that I could buy a saddle looking gadget that screws on to the line where I charge with freon. Do any of yall know what the saddle looking gadgets are called?
this is a stand alone under the counter ice maker by itself.

It is called a piercing valve. However before you do anything blow out/ clean the coils

When I go to look for gadgets, windows' website says that there are no more gadgets because of windows 8. Is there still a way to get some such as other websites that have gadgets?
