Can you download Windows 7 gadgets on to a USB?

I want to download some Windows 7 gadgets on my PC and then put them on to my Windows 7 laptop via USB. Is it possible?

they should just come up with "save as", if they just install when you click them, try right clicking and "save target as" then double click them on the other system, or put them in a folder like
C:\Temp
then open the browser & put in
C:\Temp\
and then full file name, inc the extention after the .

Risks - Getting viruses, trojans, things like that. But if you open the gadgets windows from the right click menu and click the "get more gadgets online." Any gadgets from that Microsoft website should be perfectly safe as I reckon that Microsoft checked all of them and you also download them from Microsoft's servers.
