Answer
What kind of camping?
For car camping: games like dominoes and cards; nice flashlights; some kind of propane powered gadget; other gadgets, like those hot sandwich makers or marshmallow sticks
For backpacking: dehydrated food; "just add water" mixes like for pancakes; compression sacks; lightweight entertainment, like a small book or a tiny pack of cards. I'm still putting together my own backpacking gear so it's hard to think of other ideas at this time.
For both: annual pass to a state or national park system; books about camping in the area or in an area they want to visit; a multi-use tool; gift certificate to an outdoors store

What kind of gifts would a 30 y/o like for Christmas?
Susie
Plus I would like it to be handmade, and last year I made a blanket, which he LOVES.
Answer
Can you handmake an xbox? I'm sure he APPRECIATED the blanket, but guys like toys, gadgets, stuff they can play/tinker with. If you're low on dough, then making stuff is cool and i'm sure he'll understand, but if you can make some good food for him on christmas to i'm sure he'll love that.
Also (if he's your lover), treating him to extra "stuff", is ALWAYS a + [If not, excuse the reference]
