Gift ideas for a 52yr old female recreational walker?

My mom will be 52 this month and has been walking the trails in her neighborhood for the past few months. She usually walks 3 miles a day and I'm trying to find some good gift ideas for her birthday.
I'm probably going to get her some nice walking socks and possibly a collection of foot spa lotions and things, but is there anything she could use on her actual walks? Any tools or gadgets that you like to use when walking? (She already has an ipod) Thanks!

My sister and I are looking for gift ideas for our mom. We're both teenagers, and want to pitch in to get her a great gift. She's a teacher, and basically has every gizmo and gadget ever made. We want to get her something that will be extra-special, but we're at a loss for ideas.
