Can I use a stationary bike with an office desk?

I'm hoping to set up a little gadget i purchased that has pedals on it for use while seated in an office chair. Doesn't seem to work well with the desk I'm using/ Has anyone had experience with a desk that is perhaps higher or is tilted? Right now the only solution i see is too get a small office workspace desk that can be raised much higher than a typical desk. Are there such products on the market now? Or have you had a similar situation?

If he's into gadgets, look into cyclo computers or GPS attachments that allow him to track and save his data to a PC. Garmin makes a good unit for this
Lights are always good.
And any accessory that is carbon fiber is always a plus (bottle cages, handlebars, stems, seatposts, etc.)
you could always get him a rear rack and some panniers to encourage him to bring more stuff with him.
