Well my cousin just had her third baby shower. Everyone I know has baby showers for each pregnacy. Recently I was told by an in-law that a woman is only posed to have one. I have never haerd of this rule.

Answer
it's an old fashioned rule that you only get a shower for your first baby. after that your should keep everything for subsequent babies and then not need anything. i think this is an outdated practice and believe every new baby deserves a shower. and anyway, things change so quick now that by the time a new baby comes along. all the safety issues and gadgets are new and we want them too.

Why are women being raised to be so annoying?

Q. I am a woman and I still have to admit that most women are fvcking annoying. I blame it on society. Thank God I didn't turn out like this...

1) Spending too much money on freaking clothes and jewelry.

Buy a damn computer or a video game instead. It is much more useful and actually mentally stimulating.

2) Having to be "emotionally attached" to be sexually stimulated.

I mean WTF? Sex has NOTHING to do with emotions.

3) Being too sensitive and emotional.

Women should only cry during a funeral, not at the end of a "chick flick."

4) Sucking at sports.

I've been playing sports since I was five and I'm very athletic. Perhaps women should start exercising early in life, too.

5) Talking too much.

What's so fun about talking 24/7?

6) Being weak-minded and conforming to everything everyone tells them.

This is the main reason why a lot of women are fvcked up. If they stop letting other minds think for them, then they would be a lot more independent and less annoying.
LOL I'm not a man! I've been born and raised as a female. Just because you're screwed up like this, doesn't mean that there aren't real women out there who can contribute to society.

Answer
Why do you find this so annoying? I wouldn't call these things annoying. Some of them unfortunate, perhaps, but not annoying. If you don't like people like this, then don't hang out with them.

1. Spending too much money on clothes and jewelry.

An unfortunate part of living in a consumer culture. If it's not spending too much money on clothes or jewelry, it's spending too much money on gadgets (computers and video games). It's nice that you enjoy those things. I enjoy both clothes shopping and video games. Seek out friends who have similar interest to you. Video games are not particularly mentally stimulating, though. Neither is a computer, depending on how you use it.

2. Having to be "emotionally attached" to be sexually stimulated.

This is false - anyone with the appropriate plumbing can be sexually stimulated without being emotionally invested. But you're right, women have a tendency to equate sex with love, whihc can lead to unfortunate situations when the man they'er with is just in it for the sex. However, that means that women need to be smarter about their relationships, not that sex should be totally divested of any kind of emotional investment. Why should sex be devoid of love?

3. Being too sensitive and emotional.

It sounds a lot like you are denigrating anything that has traditionally been linked to "feminine" tendencies or traditions. Some (feminists and others) have pointed out that what we've managed to do is not to change attitudes, so that what is considered "feminine" is as valued as what is considered "masculine," but to further encourage both men and women to be totally "masculine" and repress anything within themselves that is "feminine." Yes, being overly emotional is not good. Neither is denying emotions and sensitivity. Is it that women are too emotional, or that men are not emotional enough? Part of being a healthy and well-rounded human being is acknowledging your emotional side.

4. Sucking at sports.

You sound like a very healthy individual. You're right, we should all be exercising more and we should all start exercising early. And, we also need to encourage girls to get involved in sports and other forms of physical exercise. However, why is being good at sports such a requirement for worthiness?

5. Talking too much.

Again, is it that women talk too much, or that men don't talk enough? Verbal abilities has traditionally been seen as a "feminine" value. This seems more of a personal taste thing than a fault of women.

6. Being weak-minded and conforming to everything everyone tells them.

This one I agree with and is right on the money. However, it is not just a woman thing. I see both men and women doing this. I find it equally annoying in both sexes.
